Cardiopulmonary resuscitation tends to be a fairly frantic event in most situations, but it is vital to remain calm and follow a logical algorithm to optimise outcome. This lecture will discuss the RECOVER guidelines for resuscitation in dogs and cats, providing a practical approach to dealing with cardiopulmonary arrest in general practice.
