Jim Reynolds is currently a Professor, Large Animal Medicine and Welfare, Western University, College of Veterinary Medicine, Pomona, CA. Dr. Reynolds is well known in the dairy industry and academia for his work in farm animal welfare, calf management, production livestock medicine, mastitis control and sustainable agriculture.
Dr. Reynolds has served as chair of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners’ Animal Welfare Committees, he is a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association Animal Welfare Committee, was a founding board member of Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization, and is a member of the scientific committee of the American Humane Association. He has worked throughout the US and internationally.
