Talk by Colin Whiting BVSc CertSAS MRCVS RCVS. A step-by step guide to performing a Bitch Spay, focusing on sound basic techniques to avoid the most frequent pitfalls.
Colin Whiting came to referral surgery from a background in general practice. He graduated in '98 from Liverpool, and has worked in Cornwall since 2007. He's published and presented on surgical mentoring, supporting students and new graduates. He's a former Cornwall Veterinary Association President and was recently elected to RCVS Council, like a proper grown-up; he's also the founder of both VetWings 'virtual CPD' group and 'The Raptured Spleen' comedy/satire page. He really likes being a vet, and is very keen to 'pass the baton' on to help colleagues coming along and taking the profession onward.
