Bovine Caesarians - an Interactive Discussion - for vets 8 years qualified & over
Date: 26th February 2020
"If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you..." An evening of interactive discussion around bovine caesarians.
A completely interactive discussion evening based around the practicalities of large animal caesarians. Audience members are expected to come prepared to contribute as this will be a clinical club type meeting rather than a scientific lecture delivered at you from the stage. This evening works best when a mixture of battle hardened experienced senior vets share their experience with fresh younger vets, and everyone is guaranteed to take a few useful tips to take home. The evening's format is to simply work our way through the different steps we take during the op, and share the knowledge.
Led by Roger Cunningham CertBSP and Elske Put of North Park Veterinary Group
Roger joined North Park Vets in 2004 and is now the Managing Director of North Park. He works mainly with the farm animal part of the practice. He has worked hard and found time to further study his cattle medicine to attain the qualification of CertBCP.
Roger has committed a lot of time and effort to the British Cattle Veterinary Association in particular TB control and he is also involved with BVD Free England.
Elske joined North Park Vets to do mixed practice but now focuses on the farm animal side of the practice. She graduated in 2014 from Ghent University in Belgium. Elske is originally from the Netherlands where she worked as a farm vet before deciding to move to the UK.
