How To Deal With Common Conditions In Exotic Patients

Talk by Richard Hazard MA VetMB CertAVP(ZM) MRCVS. Richard studied at Cambridge University and graduating in 2009 with degrees in veterinary medicine and Zoology. Apart from general pet animal medicine and surgery, Richard has always had an interest in exotic animal medicine spending part of his final year at university focusing on this field. After university, Richard moved to the South West and joined The Veterinary Hospital Group in early 2010 and becoming a Senior Veterinary Surgeon within the practice in 2016. In 2016 Richard also gained his RCVS Certificate in Advance Veterinary Practice in Zoological Medicine with distinctions in all modules including Avian, Reptile and Small Mammal.
How to deal with common conditions in exotic patients presented to first-opinion practice. This talk will include safe anesthesia in birds/reptiles/small mammals and rabbit intubation top tips.
A hot meal will be served prior to the start of the talk. Please aim to arrive for 7.15pm for food with the talk commencing at 7.45pm.
