Talk by Tim Nuttall
BSc BVSc CertVD PhD CBiol MSB MRCVS
Early in 2025, the International Society for Companion Animal Infectious Diseases (ISCAID) published comprehensive guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of canine pyoderma. These provide authoritative and evidence based advice for: using clinical signs and cytology for patient-side diagnosis; when and how to use cultures and antimicrobial sensitivity tests; topical antimicrobial therapy; and first, second and third-line systemic drugs. This will help clinicians reduce and refine antimicrobial use without compromising patient care. This webinar will go through the most important points in the ISCAID guidelines.
