Talk by Tom Cardy BSc BVetMed (Hons) MVetMed PhD DipECVN MRCVS & Frances Taylor-Brown BSc(Hons) BVetMed(Hons) MVetMed DipECVN MRCVS. Tom has a PhD in Pharmacology from Cambridge University and prior to completing his veterinary training worked in the pharmaceutical industry; He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2011 and, after spending some time in general practice and an internship at the RVC, completed his specialist training in Neurology & Neurosurgery in 2016. Tom subsequently spent two years as a Lecturer in Neurology & Neurosurgery at the Royal Veterinary College before joining Cave Veterinary Specialists in 2018.
Fran graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and stayed on to complete a one year small animal rotating internship. After a period working in small animal practice in Hertfordshire she completed a Neurology and Neurosurgery Clinical Training Scholarship at the Royal Veterinary College, achieving the European Diploma in Veterinary Neurology in 2017. Fran subsequently worked at the Queen's Veterinary Hospital, University of Cambridge as a Clinical Neurologist before joining the team at Cave Veterinary Specialists in June 2018.
