Exotics Handling - theory & practical CPD
Date: Tuesday 7th June 2022 2-5pm
Lecture and practical CPD session by Ian Sayers BVSc CertZooMed MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn/brush up your exotic handling skills, with the practical element courtesy of the animal collection at Bicton College.
The afternoon will combine both lecture and practical teaching to give delegates the chance put into practice/improve their handling skills of commonly presented ‘exotic species’. Attention will paid to practical applications e.g. phlebotomy sites.
At the end of the afternoon delegates should be much more confident in their approach to these species and be able to apply these skills in practice.
Ian is donating his fee for the afternoons CPD to help the son of a vet friend of his. Held at Bicton College, refreshments included.
